- Cosmic Energy Solutions Ltd., is proud to introduce the new Cosmic Energy ACDC12 split
system air conditioner that runs predominantly on solar power and uses only small amounts
of power from the grid/PHCN or your UPS. The hybrid nature of this unit reduces electricity
costs and saves you money. This solar air conditioner does not require batteries, inverters
or controllers. It is easy to install, and the payback from the investment you put into the
purchase of the unit is fast. Cosmic Energy Solutions ACDC 12 solar air conditioning technology
only requires that you plug in solar panels and start saving over 80% on your cooling costs
during the day. The DC solar power is mixed with normal AC power.
Use this high efficiency system 24 hours per day, with AC power at night.
-
With a remote control for the indoor unit, the Cosmic Energy Solutions ACDC12 will cool an area
of 750 square meters for 20% of your current daytime electricity costs with PHCN, petrol or diesel
engine generators, as this system uses 80% or more of the energy coming from sunlight during daytime
cooling. Just plug in two or three PV panels to acquire the huge savings in costs and cooling up to
a SEER 35 rating. At night, you continue to save due to the ultra high-efficiency of this unit.
-
Maintain aesthetic of your premises and avoid the security issues of unsightly and noisy window units.
If you need heat during the harmattan season in your location, this system will meet your heating
requirements.
-
With the current high fuel costs for generators, the electricity generated is more expensive
than that from PHCN by at least 4 times. The Cosmic Energy Solutions ACDC12 unit operates with
very little draw from PHCN or your generator. It will help you to sharply cut down on your daytime
electricity bills or fuel costs as there will be less load on your PHCN meter or generator. You will
be cooling for less!
-
This unit can allow you to save money and add capacity by installing it in office space or larger
areas to augment an existing system, or reduce the load on an existing system, either way you will
be adding comfort to the area where the cooling is most required.
-
Note - this is not an "off-grid" unit, 220v utility power is required. If you need an off-grid
solar AC for situations where you have no AC power, you can consider the
off-grid solar DC48 click here.
